green starter smoothie
Even my green-adverse friends (children included) have slurped this smoothie down. Once you get past the color for the first time, the taste is surprisingly refreshing and delicious. It's a great and easy way to introduce more greens into your diet.
Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1 8-oz cup

2 large handfuls Organic Kale leaves
1 cup Organic Red Grapes
½ cup fresh and ripe Pineapple chunks (can use frozen)
½ Banana cut up
2-3 Tablespoons Water or a few ice cubes
Put water and/or ice at the bottom of the blender.
Put Kale leaves and then remaining ingredients in blender.
Blend until everything until smooth.
Adjust taste accordingly:
Sweeter – add more grapes or pineapples
Thicker – add more banana
