Cacao Smoothie (Hormone Detox)

Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2 
Level: Easy
Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cups almond milk
  • ½ banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoon (heaping) natural peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 scoops collagen Powder (not flavored protein powder.  1 scoop = 8 grams or about 1 ½ tablespoons.  I use a brand called Further Foods)
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds 
  • 1 tablespoon maca powder
  • handful of ice

Preparation:
  1. Place almond milk, banana, cacao powder, peanut butter, chia seeds, collagen powder, hemp seeds, maca powder, and ice in a high-speed blender and blend through.  
  2. If the smoothie is too bitter, either decrease cacao or add 1-2 pitted Mejool dates. 
  3. Enjoy!
